Generative engine optimization

GEO, with a number under it.

Generative engine optimization is a young discipline with a lot of advice and very little measurement. This is the measurement: real questions, real answers, and the sources the engines actually cited.

Question put to an AI engineExample
“Which dental practice in Paris is best for implants?”

What it answered

  1. 1Clinique Dentaire Saint-Honoré
  2. 2Cabinet Dentaire Montparnasse
  3. 3Studio Dentaire Bastille

The business asking was not named.

Measured on Groq, OpenRouter — every figure on your result says which engine produced it.

What a scan gives you

A single free scan, no account, and every figure traceable back to the answer it came from.

  • An AI visibility score out of 100, with the five components it is made of
  • Every buyer question we asked, marked won or lost
  • The competitor the engines named most often, and how much more often
  • A per-engine breakdown, each engine named with its provenance
  • The third-party sources the engines cited in your market, and whether your domain was among them
  • A count of the specific actions the paid product would rank for you

How it works

  1. 01Tell us your business name, website, industry and city. Five fields, no password.
  2. 02We put ten to twelve real buyer questions to every AI engine we can reach, and read the answers.
  3. 03You get the score, the lost questions, the competitor gap and the reasons — in about a minute.

What GEO can and cannot be, honestly

Nobody outside the model vendors knows the ranking function, and anyone selling you one is selling a guess. What is measurable is the output: which questions name you, which name a competitor, and which sources the engine reached for. Everything this product recommends is derived from that, and nothing here promises a position — we measure and suggest, we do not control what a model outputs.

One free scan needs no account and no card. Paid plans start at $9 and are listed in full, with what each one does not include.

Questions

What is generative engine optimization?

The practice of improving whether and how AI answer engines name your business in their written answers. It borrows from SEO — the engines read pages and cite sources — but the output is a paragraph rather than a ranked list, so the goal is inclusion rather than position.

Is there a GEO ranking factor list?

Not a credible one. The model vendors do not publish it and it is not stable across engines or versions. What this product does instead is measure the outcome on your own category and point at what correlates with it in your data: third-party mentions, comparison coverage, and cited sources.

How is the score calculated?

Five components — visibility, position, competitor gap, sentiment and citation authority — with published weights and a version number on every result. When the formula changes the version changes with it, so a number from March and a number from June are comparable or they are visibly not.

Do I need a credit card?

No. One scan is free, needs no account and no card, and the result page stays at its own link for thirty days.
